Suzanne Weiss Morgen

Suzanne Weiss Morgen has always been a lover of words: their power, their purpose, and their possibility. She has spent a lifetime involved with words and their unique ability to come alive to provoke, stimulate, comfort, and touch. Suzanne has written poetry in many styles. She has composed songs for both secular and liturgical setting and for special occasions and parodies. Her career has spanned decades as a singer and a vocal teacher and coach for both singing and speaking. Through her poetic writing and her singing, Suzanne has channeled language and the revelatory expression of thoughts and feelings as a cornerstone of her work.

Suzanne was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she lives with her husband. This collection came about after the deaths of her parents but also brought to mind the loss of her cherished pets. She sincerely hopes that all who mourn for both humans and animals find peace in their loving memories.
