Sean loves everything about books, the way they feel, smell, the words inside and the worlds they open up for him. He's been reading since age one, and books have always been so much fun! Hi, I'm Chante Thomas and I am a 5th grade teacher in Shaker Heights, Ohio. I have two sons, (9 and 12) and I also care for my mom who has Alzheimer's. I was bitten by the writing bug many years ago when in Graduate School at John Carroll University. As a student in a children's literature course, the desire developed in me to write children's stories that show diverse characters and their families showcasing what makes them special and unique. I live with my own wonderfully special and unique family who are my main inspiration to write stories that readers can see themselves being a part of.

Most readers have said that these characters are relatable and inspire them to want to tell their own story. I published my first book, Where I'm From in 2017. Since then, I have written two additional books, Go To School Tommy and Sean and the Book Cures. Thanks so much for reading my books!
