Mindy Green believes parenting is one of life’s greatest adventures—full of laughter, challenges, and plenty of learning along the way. As a mom of four and now a grandma, she’s walked through everything from shoelace tangles to teenage independence, and she brings those real-life experiences into her writing, speaking, and coaching.
Her approach, Parenting with Personality™, helps families understand each child’s unique personality and build stronger communication at home. With a background as a school social worker, Mindy blends science, stories, and everyday strategies to help parents feel more calm, connected, and confident.
Mindy also writes for kids. Her debut children’s book, Sammy’s Super Stretchy Shoelaces, was inspired by her own grandson’s extra-long laces and sense of humor. It’s the first in a playful series featuring Sammy and Winston the dachshund, teaching kids about resilience, problem-solving, and believing in themselves through fun, relatable stories.
At home, you’ll often find Mindy enjoying family time, swapping stories with her grandkids, or walking her dog, Hubie. She loves reminding parents (and kids!) that no one has to be perfect to be loved, understood, and celebrated.
