Michael Sclater

Michael Sclater trained as a psychotherapist at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education in London, achieving registration with the UKCP in 1999. Since then he has seen clients for the UK National Health Service and privately.

Since the early 1990s he has also intensively studied, both in theory and practice, the psychology of the East especially Vedanta and Sufism. He lives with his wife Pat on a beautiful hillside in North Wales where they are almost self- sufficient in food and energy. His first career, after leaving Cambridge University, was in documentary films, winning a number of awards.
