James Crask is a leading expert in the field of organizational resilience and business continuity. His time is spent advising some of the largest global brands in how to better prepare for, and recover from, organizational crises.
His work has brought him into regular contact with senior decision makers, including CEOs and British Prime Ministers, through to the staff making our organizations safe; the security guards, facilities staff and others. This breadth of experience has given James a keen insight into the relationship between strategy, business planning and how things actually get done in the organizations we all work for.
James has worked in a wide range of roles and across numerous industries. Highlights have included working at the heart of the UK Government in a role that involved dreaming up and planning for some of the most horrendous crises we hope will never happen, through to running risk functions for the BBC and UK Nuclear Decommissioning Authority. His latter roles have involved leading consulting teams for PwC and more recently Marsh.
