Michael Kende is a Senior Fellow and Visiting Lecturer at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva, a Senior Advisor at Analysys Mason, and a Digital Development Specialist at the World Bank Group. He is the former Chief Economist at the Internet Society, and was a Partner at Analysys Mason, Assistant Professor at INSEAD, and Director of Internet Policy Analysis at the Federal Communications Commission. He has a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT, and BA from Bowdoin College. He lives in Geneva, Switzerland, where is a municipal councillor in his village.
