Tonya Kent

Tonya Kent is a mother of four beautiful children and the grandmother of nine loving grandchildren. She currently resides in Colorado Springs. Tonya, a woman of faith, integrity, and virtue, was once a woman in bondage to substance abuse, co-dependency, guilt, fear, shame, and illiteracy. “I now see myself as a woman of God with a mission to see other women set free - free of the cycles of abuse, depression, suicide, poverty, illiterate, and dysfunctional relationships that once controlled my life.”

Tonya has earned three degrees at Solano Community College, one in Human Services (AA), the other in University Studies: Social Science (AA), and lastly, University Studies: Liberal Studies (AA). In Sumer of 2017, Tonya graduated from the University of California at Davis with a B.A. in African American Studies. Besides, I graduated in November 2019 from JEZREEL School of Theology. Lastly, Tonya graduated in December 2019 from John Franklin Kennedy Law School, Pleasant Hill, with a Paralegal Certificate.
