Arvind Godse

Arvind Godse is a chartered Mechanical Engineer of the Institution of Engineers (India) with in-depth exposure to Rotating Machinery & Condition Monitoring. He was associated with consulting organizations & Oil/Gas companies over 50 years. His was a founder member at Engineers India's Machinery group with opportunity to commission India’s first off-shore platform. He served as machinery engineer at KNPC where he was involved in machinery and it's monitoring. Later, he contributed as Machinery engineer of Qatar Petroleum, to handle GT-driven centrifugal compressors for onshore & offshore facilities. Then, as Specialist Machinery Engineer at PDO, he wrote Centrifugal compressor specification as forerunner to Compressor price agreement. During his career, he had the opportunity to work with leading machinery manufacturers from Japan, Europe & USA in carrying out tests as per PTC. He contributed articles to Hydrocarbon Processing magazine. He conducted courses for the operating companies.
