Jill Bugbee

Author, film producer, and singer/songwriter Jill Bugbee thrives on creativity. Together with her husband, Eric, they created the story of Fiver Finds Home, originally written as a feature film treatment. Having collaborated on many creative projects over the years, they are passionate about bringing uplifting content to audiences through storytelling. Jill and Eric, along with their two children, reside in Georgia, where their love for exploration has led to countless memorable adventures.

Fiver, Jill’s colorful character, was inspired by a vivid dream in which she encountered him in a quaint café. She watched in awe as a blue giraffe, adorned with purple spots and standing seven feet tall, gracefully navigated the restaurant—lifting menus, carrying plates, and setting tables with long-necked precision and elegant balance. Instinctively, Jill knew his name was Fiver. As he approached, she was captivated by his big, kind eyes. He asked the question, “5:15?” before the dream ended. She thought that perhaps it was her reservation time, but little did she know that number would unfold in significant ways throughout her life and family's.

Upon waking, Jill shared the dream with her family, who felt it was a divine appointment, reflecting how God often speaks through dreams. She researched the history of children's literature and discovered there wasn't a blue dwarf giraffe yet! Through Fiver’s story, Jill and Eric hope to inspire children and adults alike to notice heavenly dreams, signs, and wonders, encouraging them to embark on meaningful adventures of their own.
