Penelope (known as Penny) J Bond studied a BA in American Studies, followed by an MA in Journalism, along with several other courses including Fiction Writing, Criminology and Private Investigator.
Her writing style is conversationalist and is usually personal to her in some way. Her book 'Letting go of the rain' is an honest account of her story of dealing with grief and trauma from childhood. She uses writing as her therapy and escapism and her thoughts and emotions are often shared in her books, including in 'Tired Bones', which is a collection of prose and poetry.
She’s a huge fan of film, dogs, travel and breakfast food. She is not a fan of tin foil or early morning alarm calls. One of her biggest achievements was receiving a British Empire Medal for her volunteer work. One of her not so biggest achievements is despite her age, she still hasn’t mastered how to cook a proper meal.
Her aspirations in life are to have a log cabin in the middle of nowhere surrounded by snow, dogs and a good internet connection.
