Joseph Farley

Joe was born in Boston Massachusetts. His family moved to Lake Park, Florida, a few years later, where he stayed until joining the US Navy in 1974. His job as a Cryptologic Technician was exciting – he would tell you about it, but then he would have to kill you. While he was in the Navy, his family moved to St. Augustine, Florida. He actually lived on Vilano Beach on First Street. The author met his wife, Kim, in Maryland and relocated to Williamsport, PA in 1989.

One of my fondest memories in the attempt at a Guinness World Record Softball event on May 5 – 7, 1983 that raised $5,000.00 dollars for a local orphanage while serving at the Naval Security Group Activity in Misawa, Japan. The official time was 57 hrs, 02 minutes.

CASTILLO was an attempt to showcase historical St. Augustine as a background in a modern-day treasure heist. Many people have been to the nations oldest city and will identify with the humidity during the summer.

I took the attractions and added them to the story – you might use this novel as a tour guide of the city – it makes for interesting reading as well.
