George Philips

My name is Philip Warwick and I publish under the pseudonym of George Philips.

I have two books on this site, Silent Words That Miss The Ear and Never Knowing When The Writing Is Done.

Both books are Poetry and Prose on a range of subjects, childhood memories, nature, love and relationships,music,joyful journeys, crowded thoughts, golf and ghosts and different styles of poetry.

I grew up in a three storey town house on the edge Reading town in Berkshire , I have a twin brother

and we are the youngest of a family of nine that includes my parents both deceased and four sisters and a older brother.

I am retired and married, I have two sons and three grandchildren, two girls and one boy.

I have been writing for many years and I used to contribute to Poetry now magazine,( No longer in print )
