My ambition when I write is to think of the stories that I want to read to my sons and fill them with a sense of adventure. My first book, Leo's Magic Toybox, is my first book and I thought what better transportation mechanism in to a world of fantasy for children than a magic toybox!

My latest book, A Very Merry Christmouse, was a project with my Mum (Aileen) who hand drew / painted each picture. We did this as a family project so that our own family can have this book read to them each Christmas. Ultimately though the story is an adventure for all family's to enjoy at Christmas time. It's for parents to enjoy reading an exciting adventure to their children and for children to enjoy the excitement of the story including a very brave mouse and a hungry cat!

The stories I write are for those parents who want to instil a sense of adventure and I hope that, like me, you aim for your children to love picking up books!
