About Geraldo Braga

Geraldo Braga, originally from Southeast Brazil, now lives in Cape Town. He is a born-again committed Presbyterian called to be a field missionary. He is the only born-again Christian in his large traditional Brazilian family.

He is a full-time missionary, working for nearly 25 years internationally in a multicultural platform context. He has done short- and long-term volunteer missionary work in approximately 21 nations as school director, church planting coach, and leadership coach.

Geraldo is involved in leadership development, curriculum writing, critical thinking, and strategic planning for South Africans, developing new training models and church planting teams. He has also done different missionary and volunteer roles in the Americas, Europe, and Africa.

This is Geraldo’s first book, which draws upon the well-known story of the Samaritan woman, extending towards a modern application. He applies his missions’ quests and worldwide experiences in a biblical, cultural and relevant way to help Christians understand and apply biblical principles through storytelling within a specific people group ramification.

Relevancy for those involved in church planting, missions, and followers of Christ can benefit and be challenged by Leaving the Water Vessel Behind.
