Suzanne Searcy Johnson is a writer, poet, and simplicity advocate. She guides women gently from overwhelm and complication to meaningful simplicity. Currently taking a “Grown-Up Gap Year,” she's writing about becoming an empty-nester, downsizing to a tiny home, and deepening connections while embracing simplicity. She lives with her lap cat, Spike, in a tiny home community in Austin, Texas.
Suzanne's latest book is "Beyond Decluttering: 40 days to experiencing simplicity through connection." Other published works are "A Vital Simplicity: Charles Wagner's 'The Simple Life' revisited", the children's chapter book "I Did Not Know That" (illustrated by Kim Gatto), "Cherished Clay: a collection of poetry" and the novella "Forty Lives."
