Justin Daniel Matherson

My name is Justin Matherson, and I was born and raised in Denver, CO. I grew up in a neighborhood that is known for gangs and violence. When I was in high school I got sucked into that lifestyle. But, at age 17 my life was miraculously changed. I prayed and asked Jesus to come into my life, He answered that prayer and gave me a new purpose and reason to exist.

For 20 years now I’ve studied the Bible and walked with Jesus daily. After two decades of following Jesus and being a student of His word, I’ve found God’s wisdom to be powerful and life changing. Wisdom is a gift that God gives people to help us become all that He created us to be, and to experience the abundant life that Jesus said He came to give. My reason for writing is that hopefully, some part of my testimony will help someone discover the peace, joy, love and freedom that Jesus gives.
