Amanda Potter is a Sussex-based writer and academic. She is a Research Fellow with the Open University, where she was awarded her PhD in 2014 for her thesis on viewer reception of Greek mythology on television. She also co-edits a creativity blog for the University of Liverpool department of Archaeology, Classics and Egyptology, enabling students and scholars to share their creative work. She is currently working on an academic book about warrior women on screen and a third novel set in ancient Rome, working title 'Clodia's Secret'.
