Michael Libling

Michael Libling is a World Fantasy Award-nominated author whose short fiction has appeared in The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction, Asimov’s Science Fiction, Amazing Stories, Realms of Fantasy, The Year’s Best Fantasy & Horror, The Year’s Best Science Fiction & Fantasy, and many others.

His latest novel, THE SERIAL KILLER'S SON TAKES A WIFE, is an off-kilter mystery/thriller with elements of horror, fantasy, and romance. It has been described as both "terrifying and hilarious" and quite unlike any serial killer novel you've read before. It was released by WordFire Press in September 2023. His previous novel, HOLLYWOOD NORTH: A NOVEL IN SIX REELS, is set in Michael's hometown of Trenton, Ontario. Inspired by true events, the novel highlights the town's little known and often bizarre history. These include the silent movie studio that operated in Trenton from 1917 to 1934 and the arrest of the commander of the nearby air force base for rape and murder in 2010.

Montrealers best know Michael as creator and former co-host of CJAD radio’s long-running Trivia Show. The father of three, he lives on Montreal’s West Island with his wife, Pat, and a big black dog named Piper.
