I grew up on a small farm in Southern Indiana. My family had horses and there were hundreds of acres to wander around. When I got my drivers license I did what any dumb teenager would do and stay out to late and get into trouble. After high school graduation I joined the U.S. Army. I served on every continent except Antarctica. Most of my time was spent in tactical units. I did have a few office jobs. I hated them, I always wanted to be out in the woods, desert, or jungle. During one of my office job assignment I met my wife in 1999 and started a family a few years later. I got out of active service and became an Army Civilian, deployed a few times and have learned I don't bounce like I used to. I raised two amazing women during my years as an Army Civilian. I made peace with the office and left the U.S. Army for a job in Federal Law Enforcement. I'll stay in Law Enforcement until they kick me out and then I can write full time with my wife's support.
