David Sharif

David Sharif was born in Los Angeles, California and was diagnosed with autism at the age of four. He fulfilled his general education at Village Glen West, a multi-disciplinary special needs school administered by The Help Group. Despite being told by the administration he wouldn't graduate high school with a diploma, he was valedictorian for the Class of 2015 and was the first student from his school to attend a university out of state. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Pace University with a BA in Political Science & Peace and Justice Studies. David is an avid world traveler and has been to forty nations in five of the seven continents in the world along with educational experience in Europe and South America. David is a motivational speaker and has given talks and has been interviewed on several podcasts about autism. Recently, he was admitted to RespectAbilities National Disability Speakers Bureau: Jewish Division. As of now, he works for a large New York City based non-profit serving neurodiverse adults. In the future, David hopes to bring his autism advocacy work to a global scale.
