Nick Weldon

Nick Weldon is director of publications at the Historic New Orleans Collection, where he is editor and co-author of Timber Rattlers: The Piney Woods Labor Revolt (2027), Captive State: Louisiana and the Making of Mass Incarceration (2025), and Monumental: Oscar Dunn and His Radical Fight in Reconstruction Louisiana (2021). He has also been editor for several major museum exhibitions and has written about a wide range of topics for other publications.
