Jake Avila

Award winning writer Jake Avila has a background in freelance journalism and education. In 2019, he won the Clive Cussler Grandmaster Award for "Cave Diver", which went on to win the Wilbur Smith Adventure Writing Prize (2020) and a publishing deal with Bonnier Books (UK) and Echo Publishing (AUS). He is currently writing 'The Anthropocene Series', a speculative saga on the fate of humanity, with Book 1, 'The Fall', released November 2025.
