Fata Ariu Levi

Fata Ariu Levi or Ariu Levi is a native Samoan that came to the U.S. to join his father who was in the U.S. Marine corps in the early 1960s. Fata is an Elder Orator Chief title of the Malietoa monarch Pāpā (royal crown) Gatoa'itele, a title he currently holds since 1992. Fata Ariu is a Samoan culture expert, custodian, teacher, historian and author of Navigators Quest for a Kingdom in Polynesia book. Ariu Levi is an experienced entrepreneur, a cofounder of a wholesale payments technology company for the U.S. banking industry that was listed on NASDAQ (1998) financial market and now is the payment technology engine of Finastra, a privately owned and one of the largest financial services technology companies in the world based in London, England. Ariu has continued incubating startups and successfully grew them through merger or acquisition initiatives, and he is still actively engaged in funding and startups. Ariu Levi, after returning from the war in Vietnam and completing University education, his financial services career started at Bank of America Corp at its headquarters in San Francisco, CA. Initially, in the EDP Auditing Division and later a vice president of the Cashier's Department of the Treasury Division where he managed the Bank's payments policy and short term liquidity positions operations for the Bank and Holding Company cash flows. Ariu Levi's life long career has been focused in banking financial services and information technology, areas he has tremendous and endless passion for he believes it can improve our economic well beings. Fata Ariu Levi holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration-Accounting and B.A. in Economics both from California State University East Bay.

Ariu is a Purple Heart recipient.
