Ross Cole

Ross Cole is Associate Professor of Music at the University of Leeds and the recipient of a Philip Leverhulme Prize. His first book The Folk: Music, Modernity, and the Political Imagination won the Society for Ethnomusicology's Bruno Nettl Prize. He studied at King’s College Cambridge, the University of York, and Christ Church Oxford, where he received the Gibbs Prize.
