Milton A Brown

The writing I once considered a hobby is making its way into the public market space. Born in Los Angeles, raised in Detroit and now currently residing in Houston, Texas, the journey has been a winding one, yet just beginning in a sense.

From the hallowed halls of Cass Technical High School in Detroit, to the urban center of Wayne State University and corporate America stops from General Motors to Enron, love has been lost and found along the way.

I am not unlike many for whom my first book is written. The difference is I tell part of the story with poetry.

Storytelling by poetry is not a new journey, but I hope my poetry will inspire you to take your own. With an intent to be provocative and fresh, I attempt to navigate the reader from love found to lost, ecstasy to sorrow, and in the process reveal a bit of myself.

I have enjoyed a career in information technology with over fifteen-years of experience in a variety of industries. I have worked for some of America’s best and controversial companies, including the now defunct Enron Corp.

I am a current member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the United States Tennis Association (USTA). When I am not writing, I enjoy recreational tennis.

Project manager by day, tennis player by night, an aspiring author in the middle, and a Christian all the time, I still believe in dreams and through all the trials, the voice inside my head has remained steadfast.
