I was born in North London, shortly after the end of World War 2.
We were a family with a modest way of life although I´m not sure I quite realised that at the time for I had a wonderfully happy childhood. As time went by, my father made steady progress with his career so we were able to move up the social ladder - one consequence of which was that my parents were able to afford for me to be privately educated at a minor public school. On leaving school I decided - or put more accurately - I was informed by my father that I was to follow a career in the law. Five years later I duly qualified.
Away from the law, my life has consisted of a series of experiences, physical and emotional, of many forms. Some more startling than others. For much of the time I was balancing a more conventional type of relationship with inclinations of a different nature........not always sucessfully. But life tended never to be dull. Maybe this was one reason why I never walked down the aisle.
During the whole of my working life, travel was my main form of relaxation. From New York to Oman. From Oslo to Hong Kong. From Moscow to Jamaica. From Bali to Brussels.
After I had retired as a lawyer ,during which time I had been a partner in a number of London law firms, I moved to Spain where is where I still live.
