Chris Head

Chris Head is comedy and speaking coach, and a live comedy director. He is author of "The Complete Comedy Script Toolkit", published by Yellow Door Books, "Creating Comedy Narratives for Stage and Screen" and "A Director's Guide to the Art of Stand-up", both published by Bloomsbury Methuen. He has taught stand-up, sketch and sitcom for over twenty years, including at the British Library, BBC Writers, Channel 4 and on the BA Comedy Degree at Bath Spa University that he helped develop, as well as online courses with the British Comedy Guide. Chris recently script edited BBC Radio and Channel 4 sitcom scripts, a comedy short film that was a global hit, and a sell-out comedy play seen at Assembly in Edinburgh and Soho Theatre in London (that he also directed). His stand-up directing work has been seen at Soho and Bloomsbury Theatres, Pleasance, Assembly and Underbelly in Edinburgh, and internationally.
