Bob Bernstein

Bob Bernstein spent 30 years hunting for shipwrecks, salvage diving, deep sea fishing, wrangling boats and tending film crews for movies, guiding tourists on pelagic tours, and taking pilots out to ships and tugs in all kinds of inclement weather. He recently acquired Althea, a 45' blue water Cutter Ketch, with plans for further and farther adventures.

Bernstein cut his teeth as an author writing for some of the top marine trade and yachting magazines. He caught the screenplay bug and made the top 25 scripts in the 1998 Nicholl Screenwriting competition, which led to a few options and writing partnerships with other screenwriters. While none of his personal projects made it to the big screen, some of his "on the sly" collaborations did. He worked with several boutique agencies and production companies over the years, and has a handful of uncredited feature film contributions.

His most recent projects include: The Ring Shepherd: Peter of Pan, a metaphysical sci-fi musing on the classic J.M. Barrie fantasy written in 1911; Full Metal Rapture, a feature film script about a rogue NSA surveillance computer; And Henry, a TV series based on author William Doonan's Henry Grave Mysteries.
