Edgar Ramirez

Edgar is a unique person; he is a survivor. Edgar believes that knowledge can be shared but truth can only be found. Failure, doubt and misbelieve have been the most powerful teachers for him.

Edgar was born in a warm Mexican middle-class family. Second son of great giving parents Rodolfo and Ednna. From them he learned family love, sacrifice, loyalty, responsibility and hard work; he also learned that the best investment is quality education of your children, as he benefited from this his whole life considering that his parents always prioritized their sons’ tuition.

Edgar is a citizen of the world; he feels comfortable among people of other cultures and nationalities. Due to his multicultural education he finds it easy to understand and relate to other ways of thinking and doing. Edgar speaks Spanish, English and German.

Edgar studied law and worked in several important law firms until 2004 when he suffered a brain stroke at age 24, an important turning point in his live. After recovering, he went independent and in 2009 he started his own company.

In 2008 Edgar was invited to join of BNI in Mexico City. After 6 months, the Givers Gain philosophy made sense to him. In 2010 he becomes Director Consultant for BNI Mexico. Today Edgar own 3 BNI franchises and leads a community of over 700 business owners, CEO of 2 companies, partner in a global law firm and loving father of twins with his partner Monique.
