Charles R. Chaffin

Dr. Charles R. Chaffin (New York, NY) is an Author, Entrepreneur, Professor, and Coach specializing in Financial Psychology, Goal-Setting, and the intersection of financial planning and educational and cognitive psychology.

He is the co-founder of MRI (Money and Risk Inventory), which assesses client risk tolerance and financial psychology to create actionable insights for financial advisors. He also co-founded the Psychology of Financial Planning Specialist program, educating thousands of advisors and students from around the world on financial psychology. He also co-founded Affirming Advisor, which helps financial advisors better serve LGBTQ clients and allies.
