Andrew Peiser

Dr. Andrew Peiser is a Former Dean and Professor Emeritus of Social Studies Education, Mercy College. He has published several textbooks in U.S. and global history as well as articles focusing on educational issues. He received a B.A. degree in History from the City College of New York, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Social Studies Education from New York University. He lives wih his wife in New York City, and has three children and four grandchildren.
