Rajko Grlic

Rajko Grlic was born 1947 in Zagreb, Croatia. He got his Master’s Degree in Feature film directing from the FAMU, Film Academy in Prague, Czech Republic.

As director and scriptwriter he worked on the following theatrical feature films:

His films have been distributed all around the world and shown in competition at many major film festivals, from Cannes on. They have received more then hundred international awards. His last film, “The Constitution” was awarded in Montreal with The Grand Prize of the Amerikas and received over thirty-five other awards.

Grlic has also written nine produced feature screenplays and one television serial. He has received numerous awards for writing including a UNESCO award, the Cannes FIPRESCI award and the Spanish "Peter Kastner" award.

He also wrote, directed and produced CD-ROM “How to make your Movie - An Interactive Film School” which was awarded with eight international awards including "Grand Award" as the best world multimedia at The New York Festival in 1998.
