Key Man
Over years of involvement in finance and the launching of new businesses, Allen Huffstutter’s career has been one of "doing deals.” That background, combined with his MBA from the University of Southern California and his BS in Finance from San Diego State University, provided Allen with the basis for weaving together Key Man's nuanced financial plot line involving a cast of memorable characters ... and murder.

A Contemporary Adaptation of Aristophanes' Lysistrata
When Senator Elizabeth Warren tried to read a letter written by Coretta Scott King into the Congressional Record, she was gaveled down by Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, who – when she tried to continue - complained that
"Nevertheless, she persisted."
This demeaning incident led to a public backlash. It also prompted Allen to contact the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's Artistic Director to see if the company had considered staging Aristophanes' Lysistrata, since that classic Greek play put a spotlight on powerful women putting incompetent politicians in their place. He was told that the Festival considered the play on a regular basis but that the "original" wasn't suited for contemporary audiences, and they had never come across a good adaptation.
An offhanded comment was made that "Maybe you should try your hand at an adaptation." And, so he did. Thus, "Liz Estrada" was born.
Now, Trump is back and so is Liz in Allen's 2025 updated adaptation Aristophanes' timeless Greek comedy.
