Susan Montgomery

Susan Montgomery is an author and illustrator who finds inspiration in animals, nature, and the small moments of everyday life. She writes and illustrates children’s books as well as nonfiction for adults, and she is always curious about where the next creative idea might lead.

Living with chronic pain has taught Susan to make creativity fit the life she has, rather than waiting for perfect circumstances. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from Bowling Green State University. When she isn’t writing or illustrating, she enjoys reading, trying new creative projects, and spending time with her tuxedo cat, Tracey. She lives in Bowling Green, Ohio.
