Peter Milsom

Peter Milsom is a leading authority on sustainable and regenerative change, as well as standards development in projects and risk. He has over 35 years experience as an entrepreneurial advocate for sensible, sustainable and regenerative change delivery (e.g. project) practice adoption spanning Federal and Provincial governments, telecommunications, Fortune 25 companies, and education. He was the Convenor for the recenly published ISO 21502:2020 Project Management Revision and Secretary for the ISO 31000 Risk Management Implementation Handbook & Best Selling Co-Author of Sustainable Project Management.

He is a speaker at project management and sustainability symposiums, congresses and conferences all over the globe and has worked in over 50 countries advancing sustainable and regenerative projects.

Over his career he has come to the realization that sustainability is the perfect catalyst for project, portfolio, risk, value, business case and benefits management improvement and empowerment. He is the architect of GPM's PSM3 organizational assessment model, and the GPM360° Registered Assessor and Consulting (RCA) program.

He has been involved in the International Institute for Peace and Sustainable Development or IIPSD since the beginning. The institute will also be carbon negative and will have campuses in Malaysia and Costa Rica with a focus on planetary regeneration. IIPSD is in the development stage and is looking to gain momentum in 2021.
