Nicki Jenkins

Nicki Jenkins, M.Ed., is currently the Senior Program Specialist for the Parent and Family Association at the University of Kentucky, working to welcome, educate, and connect parents and family members of undergraduate students with the goal of supporting successful student transition, retention, and persistence to graduation. Prior to her arrival at UK, Nicki served in various roles supporting student and family activities at the College of Charleston, the University of Maine, and NC State University. She recognizes the critical role parents and families play in supporting students and enjoys being able to contribute to their successful transition to college.

Nicki volunteers with the premier national association for higher education professionals who works with the parents and family members of college students, AHEPPP: Family Engagement in Higher Education (www.aheppp.org). In her spare time, Nicki also loves to collect mid-century modern furniture and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
