Mark Pontious

Mark Pontious serves as Miami University’s Director of Parent & Family Programs, a position which he has held since October 2014. Mark has worked in higher education since 2007, primarily in the field of family engagement. Mark holds a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, a master's degree from Florida State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Miami. Mark and his wife, Angela, have three kids (a daughter and twin boys) and he is originally from Columbus, Ohio. Outside of work and family, Mark enjoys running, reading, and drinking too much coffee.
