Rachel Wei has always been drawn to language and the ability of even one word to help achieve, or hinder, our goals. Convinced that despite what some say, words do matter, Rachel set out on a journey to learn more about rhetoric and how it impacts our everyday lives. Thus, her first book Primed: The Everyday Art of Rhetoric was born.
As a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholar at Vanderbilt University, Rachel was an interdisciplinary triple major studying Biology, English Literature, and Human & Organizational Development. She was an active member of the Vanderbilt Community, including being a columnist and editor for the school newspaper “The Vanderbilt Hustler,” and Director of Communications for Vanderbilt Student Government.
