E B Rogers

Ed is a retired firefighter, having served twenty-seven years with the City of Long Branch, New Jersey, where he graduated high school with the class of 1980. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he served as a fire protection specialist prior to his career in Long Branch.

Married to his wife, Donna, they raised a son and a daughter and are currently living in New Jersey.

After retirement, he ran and completed, the Jersey Shore Marathon, along with Donna (who beat him by seven minutes). He then set his goals on writing a novel. "There was a common narrative," Rogers stated, "being reported by various media outlets that we were losing our moral compass as a society. I wanted to tell a story that reminds us that, morals and character matter."
