Reggie Byers has created comic books and children’s books since 1985. He was the first African American comic book publisher during the black and white independent comic explosion in the 1980’s. Reggie has written and illustrated over 50 comics, coloring and children’s books including SHURIKEN, ROBOTECH, and KIDZ OF THE KING, which was also released an an animated cartoon episode.
Reggie has illustrated numerous books for independent authors and self publishers as well as corporate houses.
His style of work is reminiscent of a mix of “Saturday morning cartoon” animation and Japanese anime.
Approaching 40 years of work, Reggie continues to create comics and children's books that entertain, educate, inspire and edify!
