Dara Barlin

Dara Barlin is the founder of the Center for Transforming Culture. She has over two decades of experience facilitating trust-building conversations, conducting research to inform policy, and organizing action-driven campaigns for positive change. Her research has been featured at the United Nations, U.S. Congress, and the UK’s Institute for Public Policy Research.

In 2012 she led a campaign that brought thousands of people together from 97 countries to create a blueprint for global change; then initiated a platform of support for citizen-inspired ideas to achieve that change. She was lead author of a previous book published by Harvard Education Press and has written many articles focusing on trust-building and positive change.

She has also led several roundtables and organizing campaigns that have moved politicians and activists beyond their differences to focus on solutions. Her methods have been touted as exceptional by state, national and international policy leaders.
