Deb Hall

Originally from Southern California, Deb Hall now lives with her husband, two sons, and puppy in the beautiful foothills of Denver, Colorado. Though she loves the sunshine Colorado boasts, she misses the beaches of California like crazy. She enjoys writing, reading, running, coffee with friends, and Jesus.

Deb has always loved writing and language. Her career, first as a secondary and college teacher then as an editor, has always involved analyzing and playing with words. Her love of writing was reignited when, as a part of a local writers’ group called Writers on the Rock, she was encouraged to share her words. Soon, after years of infertility, God began inviting her to a journey of healing for herself and prompting her to share this journey with others. The result is the book you’re now holding.

Deb’s path through and past infertility eventually led to her becoming a mom through adoption, a role she treasures. Also a recent cancer sojourner, Deb is more convinced than ever that our suffering and pain can be used to bless others, and that by sharing our stories with others walking a similar path, our healing will come. Even if it looks messy or jagged or imperfect. And no matter what, God will be there.
