Hiya!

I recently moved from Wattpad to Amazon Kindle, hoping to make a living out of my writing career. The Memversheep are characters from my musical novel in Wattpad, “Kildare: Smart vs Intelligent by Wicked Writch,” that I temporarily paused before because I had to get a job. Now, I am continuing it by developing these cute characters through the stand-alone sequel of “Meet the Memversheep.”

The name, Memversheep, I coined from these three words: (1) membership; (2) verse; (3) sheep. Membership, I called, because they are flock of sheep. Verse, I used, because poetry is their language. Sheep, though at first envisioned to be literally a sheep, later evolved into different living things. What I love about sheep, is still sheep in singular or plural form.

Because all characters have -sheep in their names (such as Hardsheep, Fellowsheep, Partnersheep) everybody around me thinks that I “sheep” career. But no! I won’t repent for being a multi-potentialite. I am thankful to God for this wonderful talent.

Because of the Meet the Memversheep, I became a literary shepherd. If Moses flee from Egypt, I quit my eh-job, from the quote, “earth without art is eh.” I quit my job because I feel like I lost my hobbies---my life. Though I love reading, because I am very tired at the end of the day, I would choose to sleep and to dream instead. One day, when I order for my lunch, a Happy Meal from Mc Donalds, I had an option to choose between “Book or Toy.” So, I chose the book. The moment I flipped through the pages, I felt returning to my old self. Because it’s a children’s storybook, the words were little and the illustrations were light but full. I didn’t feel tired reading that Happy Meal book though I’m exhausted. That, I believe, inspired the overall style of Meet the Memversheep. It is written in poetry like a nursery rhyme.

A story, can be compressed in a poetry. A poetry, can be compressed in a sheet of paper. And a sheet of paper can be compressed inside a straw. Hence, I invented, Strawries (Stories in Straws). Save Straws---from milk tea shops, widespread in the Philippines using plastic straws. Save Earth --- instead of these straws ending up in the ocean. Save Stories---stories about nature and environment with moral lessons.

I created my future company, Writch Craft and Design Lab. Although, right now, I’m just an individual with big dreams. I want to start with publishing. This pandemic, I want to be a writer. I said to myself…to share my writchcraft for the world.

I just have to do the next write-thing.
