Daniel Cohen

Hi - I am Daniel Cohen and I live deep in the Galilee of Israel. For 30 years I've written, directed & produced TV documentaries for global broadcast, specializing in history & archaeology, nature and current events. I'm also the author of two factual books - 'The Holy Land of Jesus', and 'Espaņa: the story of Spain.

I've written & directed movies for National Geographic, PBS, Dutch and Japanese TV, and produced for these plus BBC, Ch4, A&E, History & ABC. Many years ago I also wrote the movies for the Niagara Falls visitor centers in the US and Canada.

My major projects include: The 4-part Crusades with Terry Jones of Monty Python; 'Enigma of the Dead Sea Scrolls'; Mystery Files II (Best History Series, NY Film Festival - with "The Birth of Jesus'); 'The Secret Family of Jesus'; and the 3-part 'Jesus - the Rise to Power'; and 'Flight of Faith: the story of Jesus'.
