I do enjoy writing. Not that I ever expect to make a living at it. It's really just for me. I have a number of quirky little stories in me that I just want to get out on paper. If anyone besides me enjoys them, bonus!

I'm actually an insurance guy. I didn't choose the profession. Like most insurance people, the profession somehow chooses you. Though, I can't really complain. My job has taken me all over the world. At last count, I've visited 32 countries on six continents. That, in and of itself, was worth the price of admission.

I used to play Football in my youth. I've run four marathons (two under 3 hours). At age 60, I'm a little worse for the wear but I still can get around pretty good. I should probably lose ten pounds or so. Unfortunately, I still eat like a teenager. A work in progress..

I'm married with four almost grownup kids (3 of the 4). And, I have a dog named Riley.

I believe that I may be the last person in the world to have created a Facebook account. Oh well, I've never been very fashionable. It's still nice to reconnect with old friends and see what everyone is up to these days.
