Neil Doherty

Neil Doherty is a graduate of Glasgow Caledonian University, where he obtained a bachelor of arts degree with first-class honours, and Strathclyde University, where he obtained a postgraduate certificate with merit in mental health social work. Neil embraces the highs and lows of being a season ticket holder with Kilmarnock FC and member of the Scotland National Team Supporters Club. Neil is the author of two football books: ‘World Cup 1998: Scotland’s Story’, which he published independently in 2021, and ‘We’re Going To Wembley: Scotland’s Euro ‘96 Journey’ (co-authored with John Bleasdale) which is scheduled for release on Pitch Publishing on 27 May 2024.
