Sridhar Rajeswaran

Sridhar Rajeswaran is founding Director of the Centre for Advanced Studies in India (CASII). He is a member of the Advisory Committee of the CoHaB Indian Diaspora Centre, University of Mumbai. He is a Visiting Professor in Humanities at the Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences, University of Mumbai and Department of Atomic Energy. He was the “South Asia Diaspora Fund” Research Fellow at the University of the Fraser Valley, B.C., Canada and the Indo Canadian Studies Centre, University of Mumbai. He has been a Visiting Professor at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Simla. His areas of research and specialization are the poetry of W. B. Yeats and Ireland, Postcolonial Theories and Texts, Communication and Media Studies, Film Studies and Modern Indian Drama in English. His papers and books have been published in India and abroad. He has been a DAAD Visiting Professor in Germany and invited to present papers at international and national conferences. His poetry has been published in India and abroad and he has been a Poet in Residence at Dusseldorf University and an invited poet at the London Book Fair.
