Dr. Lucas "Luke" Lafitte, J.D., Ph.D., is one of the most prolific trial attorneys of the 21st century, an American history Professor, and co-founder of Dead White Zombies, an award-winning theater group in Dallas, Texas. He is the author of the three-volume series Chronicles of a Curious Mind. His most recent book, Machine Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm: Spiritual Freedom and the Re-Animation of Matter (Simon & Schuster) was considered for the Pulitzer Prize in General Nonfiction for 2022. Lafitte's philosophies are diverse but underlying them all is the quest for--or calling for--empathy--by understanding human consciousness. He calls for a reconciliation of the American Mind in addition to the pendulum of consciousness in terms of scientific materialism and spiritual idealism being re-balanced, arguing that the 20th century reduced us to robots (slaves to the external illusion).
