Enjoying her life as an elementary school teacher in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Ann Loring has developed many interests.
One is her dedication to children. Ann spent her teaching career in Olympia, Wa. being an advocate for young children, their education, and their appreciation of nature.
Ann’s love of travel and visiting different environments has influenced her desire to write to diverse audiences.
After self-publishing an adult mystery novel, Splinters of Silence, Ann’s artistic direction turned back to nature and consequently to writing children’s books.
Currently Ann is writing a series of environmental children’s picture books.
Nester Gnome Saves the Planet (published by Austin Macauley) highlights the enchanting illustrations of local artist, Boni Jo, and guides the reader on magical adventures which provide children with proactive ways to both engage with and improve their environment.
Ann and Boni Jo hope you will join Nester on his fun-packed and informative journeys, as book one will be published on May 28, 2021.
Children are the future of our planet!
