Danielle LaRosa is an award-winning children’s book author, former elementary special education teacher, and mother of three. She holds a B.A. in Special Education and a Master’s degree in Reading, bringing both heart and expertise to every story she writes.

With a lifelong love of music and early literacy, Danielle creates uplifting, rhyme-filled picture books that are designed to be read aloud, remembered, and treasured. Her debut book, When I Grow Up, I Want to Be a Song!, began her mission to put a smile on a child’s face and a song in their heart.

Danielle is the creator of The Wild About You Collection—a heartfelt series of love-filled keepsake books inspired by her own children. The first book in the series, I Love You So, was written for her son as he prepares to head off to college. Through gentle rhyme and relatable childhood moments, the story celebrates the unbreakable bond between parent and child and reminds readers that love remains constant—even as life begins to change.

Danielle’s books are perfect for families, classrooms, and special milestones, offering messages of love, confidence, and connection that children can carry with them as they grow.
